    Inside culinary nutrition with Emma Stirling

    Spend a morning with Associate Professor Emma Stirling, a leading expert in nutrition and dietetics at Australian Catholic University (ACU). Emma is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian, Fellow of Dietitians Australia, and an award-winning nutrition communicator.

    As Culinary Nutrition Practice Lead, Emma brings extensive experience from the food, hospitality, media and health sectors into this exciting field. Culinary nutrition is a fast-growing field of interprofessional practice with opportunities for educators and home economists.

    During the morning, Emma will:

    • show us around the kitchen gardens
    • share her expert insights into culinary nutrition
    • highlight opportunities in short courses in skill development.

    Light refreshments will be provided and a small gift provided to each participant.

    We will also celebrate the King and Amy O’Malley Trust scholars and recognise their achievements.

    Join your fellow Home Economics peers in a day of exploration and learnings as we forecast the fifth industrial revolution where technology and ethics come together to foster a more sustainable and technologically productive future for food and textiles.

    The day will consist of a gathering of educators and industry professionals who will engage within a range of interactive workshops and talks coming away with practical educational strategies.
