HEIA NSW is a division of the national peak professional association for home economics professionals in Australia—the Home Economics Institute of Australia Inc. (HEIA).
HEIA NSW brings together teachers, academics and professionals who share a commitment to home economics education and its contribution to everyday life.
We support our members through curriculum advocacy, professional learning, practical workshops and opportunities to exchange ideas and expertise. Our activities connect curriculum knowledge with classroom practice, helping teachers strengthen their programs and shape and respond to curriculum reform.
