What we do

The Home Economics Institute of Australia is dedicated to educating, advocating, and informing the home economics community. We educate through professional development opportunities like our national conference, webinars, and workshops. We advocate for the profession by engaging with governments on public policy matters. We inform and recognise excellence by publishing our journal and newsletter, celebrating achievements through awards, and maintaining an active presence on social media. Through competitions and ongoing support, we strive to empower and inspire our members.
