Featuring leading Home Economics teachers, Rosie Sciacca and Carlie Bartnicki, the day will provide practical strategies, fresh ideas, and innovative approaches to enhance your teaching practice and support student success.

Start the day with practical strategies: Navigating AI in the home economics classroom

Building on the success of her popular AI webinars, Rosie Sciacca returns with an engaging, hands-on workshop designed for all Home Economics teachers, from those beginning their AI journey to experienced users looking to expand their skills.

Explore practical ways to use AI in the classroom, discover tools and strategies that can enhance teaching and learning, and consider the responsible and ethical use of AI in education. Bring your questions, ideas, and fully charged laptop for an interactive session focused on building confidence, creativity, and capability.

Afternoon inspiration: Bee You Education

Carlie Bartnicki from Bee You Education will share valuable insights into supporting student wellbeing and creating positive learning environments. Through practical strategies and thoughtful approaches, Carlie will explore ways educators can strengthen connections with students and foster supportive Home Economics classrooms where all learners can thrive.

Over lunch: Celebrating our home economics community

The day will also provide opportunities to connect with colleagues, share experiences, and strengthen professional networks over lunch. Together, we will celebrate the achievements and contributions of our Home Economics community through the presentation of the
