  • retired home economics professionals who are not in paid employment, or volunteers in the field of home economics, or those on leave

Student 

  • tertiary students enrolled in a course studying in any field of home economics.

School group 

  • allows any primary or secondary school, college, or TAFE campus to nominate up to 6 members for inclusion in HEIA membership.
  • schools with more than 6 teachers may join the teachers to HEIA for an additional fee of $50 per teacher at the school.

  • achieved a qualification of Certificate IV or higher in Home Economics or a related field from outside Australia.
