Guidelines for service award nominations

Nominations

• Nominations must be made by a member(s) of HEIA.
• Nominations can be completed at any time using the official online HEIA nomination form. These nominations are forwarded to the Executive Member. 
• The Council will approve nominations.

Selection

• It is intended that this award will recognise active contribution to the profession by service to HEIA.

• The nominee will have provided exemplary service to, or on behalf of, HEIA at a national level over a significant period of time, typically for work on committee(s) and/or projects.

General information 

• The Executive Member of Council is responsible for coordinating activities related to service awards.

• The award will be presented at a suitable national occasion or by the division nominating at a function of its choice.
